This policy explains what information Zoweetek Electronics Limited ("Zoweetek", "we") collects through zoweetek.com and how we use it.
Who we are

Information we collect
- What you send us. Our inquiry form asks for your name, email address and message, plus your company, country, product and quantity if you choose to add them. If you email or call us, we receive what you send.
- What is sent with the form. The page you sent it from, any campaign tags in the page address (UTM parameters and Google click ID), your IP address and your browser's user agent.
- Site usage. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how you use the site. See our Cookie Policy.
How we use it
- To answer your inquiry, prepare quotes and samples, and follow up with you.
- To keep a record of inquiries and manage any business relationship that follows.
- To filter spam and protect the site.
- To understand how people find and use the site, and which pages lead to inquiries, so we can improve it.
Legal basis
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on these legal bases:
- Answering your inquiry, preparing quotes and samples and following up. Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), or, where you write on behalf of a company, our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Keeping records of inquiries and any business relationship, filtering spam, protecting the site and seeing which pages and campaigns lead to inquiries. Our legitimate interests in running our business securely, keeping accurate commercial records and improving the site (Article 6(1)(f)), and our legal and accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Google Analytics. Your consent, given through the cookie banner (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. This does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew.
Your name, email address and message are needed to send an inquiry; without them the form cannot be submitted. The other fields are optional.
Who handles it for us

We also keep inquiries in our own customer management system so our sales team can follow up.
Where your information goes
We are based in China, and our staff read and answer inquiries from China. China has not received an adequacy decision from the European Commission or the UK government. We transfer your inquiry to China because it is necessary to take the steps you ask for before any contract (GDPR Article 49(1)(b)). For the record-keeping described above, we limit the transfer to what that purpose needs.
Cloudflare and Google process data in the United States and other countries. Both state that they comply with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, including its UK Extension, and use standard contractual clauses for other transfers. You can ask us for details of these safeguards at sales@zoweetek.com.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries that do not lead to business for 2 years after our last contact with you. Inquiries that lead to orders are kept for as long as the business relationship lasts, plus the period Chinese accounting and tax law requires us to keep commercial records.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the inquiry information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or give you a copy in a common machine-readable format. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
To do any of this, email sales@zoweetek.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We answer within one month; if a request is complex we may take up to two further months and will tell you why. If we refuse a request, we will explain the reason.
To change your cookie choice or withdraw consent, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Our Cookie Policy has the details.
If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work. If you are in China, you can complain to the department responsible for personal information protection.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
